Rental cars are a bad thing. Most times, they're better than the car we normally drive. They have all the gadgets and toys, they smell good and for some reason they always get great gas mileage.
This leads to awful behavior. We're mean to our own car after we drop off the rental and go back home. We say bad things to our vehicle, telling it how much better the "other" car was, comparing features, mileage and smells.
We do that to our cars and then we get mad when they break down.
It's just wrong.
