Something for Alyssa

this is from Charlie :) (aka Charlie8Charlie on Twitter)

Hey Tweeps!

We have started to make a Scrapbook for Alyssa’s baby, just as a fun memento and a way for us to
actually be able to do something in order to satisfy our feelings of ‘my sister’s having a baby’ (or is
that just me?!)! So it is a normal sized scrapbook (here in Australia anyway) 12” x 12” or 30.5cm x
30.5cm. Rather than doing something computerised, it would be great if you all could complete a
page for the book and then post it to me (you can usually buy card of the exact dimensions at craft
shops). Then I will collate them all into the scrapbook and post it over. Originally I was going to post
the actual book around but that would cost a fortune each time it went to someone new!

If you aren’t overly creative you can do a Google search for ideas. In saying that, usually a scrapbook
is done with photos and since bub isn’t around yet, I actually found it quite difficult to fill a whole
page. You can do whatever you like, a letter, poem, song, pics, advice, recipes etc etc! But if the page
is too big it would also work really well if some of you just posted me like a postcard size or whatever
and I would add it in. Please try to make your pages as flat as possible so I can fit them all into the
book!

If you would like to take part email me and I’ll send you my address. There is no rush as I won’t
actually be at that address until mid-May, and then I’ll be away in July! But someone will be there
to receive it. If you want to do it right away great. If you’d rather wait until you know the sex of the
baby also great, just make sure it will arrive at mine (in Australia) by mid-July. I’ll post to Lippy who’ll
get it to Alyssa hopefully before bub arrives!

Wow I feel like I’m rambling! One thing I promise to do is take a vid of the final book so you can all
see it!

Any questions email me anytime I might be a bit delayed June/July as I will be in Uganda and won’t
have constant internet access (not sure how I will cope!).

Loads of Love
Charlie
